Bio

Mr. Pate is a retired United States Army Major, his service having a focus in international affairs, intelligence and Air Defense operations.  He has over eleven years experience in workers’ compensation, insurance defense, general civil litigation, construction defect litigation and criminal law in San Diego, CA .  Mr. Pate’s military experience in the areas of operations, administration, management, and problem analysis and resolution dealing at the highest levels of the U.S. government make him uniquely qualified to perform the demanding tasks of a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney.  Additionally, Mr. Pate has extensive expertise in large case management, motivating cross-functional teams, process improvement, project management, marketing and client relations. 

Mr. Pate graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1970 with a degree in Economics.  While in the military, he attended the Defense Language Institute and was a French linguist for the Army.  He is a Distinguished Graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School , 1986, and graduated from California Western School of Law on 1996.
