Bio

Christine Nixon-Calamari graduated, with honors, from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She earned her law degree from Stetson University College of Law and is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts as well as the District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Christine has been handling Workers' Compensation cases since 1999 and, prior to joining Testan Law, she managed her own law office for 15 years where she represented individuals and corporations in workers compensation and personal injury claims. Additionally, she has worked for prominent law firms in the field of workers' compensation defense.

She is active in the community and, in 2000, was appointed by the Florida Governor to the South Florida Regional Planning Council where she served as a council member until 2006.  She was also named Business Woman of the year in 2006 by the National Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council.  Christine believes in giving back to the community and is an active volunteer, providing food and other necessities to her local community, as well as to children in need in Jamaica, where she was born.
