While in Loss Prevention and Customer Service Management with Sears, Roebuck & Company, Gerry Dagonese completed his J.D. at Western State University School of Law in Fullerton, California. After admission into the California State Bar in June of 1991, he spent a short period in civil litigation. Gerry then began a career in Workers’ Compensation defense; he has been actively defending claims on behalf of employers and insurance companies for the past eighteen years. During this period, he has been an instructor in Basic and Advanced Workers’ Compensation Law for the IEA and he has spoken on various Workers’ Compensation topics at client seminars.
