Kathleen attended Western State , where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1989 while working for Gray and Prouty.  She has handled workers’ compensation and subrogation matters, in both Northern and Southern California .  She has also handled family law and personal injury claims.

In 2000, Ms. Butler opened a bakery, Cinnamon’s Bakery, in Wrightwood, California .  She sold the bakery in 2004 and decided to return to the practice of law.  She worked for Shields, Hanna and Hayton, an applicant’s firm in the High Desert until June, 2008, when she joined our firm.

In workers’ compensation, Ms. Butler’s experience includes general workers’ compensation issues, rehabilitation appeals, Petitions for Reconsideration, Writs of Review and subrogation matters.
