Friendly Hills Care v. WCAB 64 CCC 445 (1999):

Applicant suffered one cumulative trauma rather than two, despite distinct periods of temporary disability, need for medical treatment and progressive deterioration of symptoms.


Moran v. Bradford Blg. 57 CCC 273 (1992):

Workers' compensation judge has inherent jurisdiction to dismiss employee's claim for workers' compensation benefits based on failure to prosecute/obstruction of discovery.


Jones v. L.A. Community College District (1987):

Federal action alleging discrimination by employer on basis of race constitutes exception to exclusive remedy provision of Labor Code.
