Joan Ganz
Associate Attorney

After graduating McGeorge School of Law in 1982 with honors, Joan Ganz went on to receive a Reginald Huber Smith Fellowship from the United States Congress. As a "Reggie Fellow" Joan worked as a lead attorney for civil rights for women inmates.  In 1985 she went to work for Mullen and Filippi, later becoming an associate partner in their law firm with an emphasis in subrogation.  In March, 2004, Adelson, Testan, Brundo and Jimenez became her new home where she first started in their Sacramento office.  She later managed the San Francisco office and  1 year later returned back to Sacramento.
 
Joan is one of the few attorneys at the firm admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and the California courts. She travels extensively on behalf of her clients throughout the state.
 
She is past president of Women Lawyers of Placer County, a member of both Sacramento and Placer County Bar Associations and California Womens Lawyers Association.
