Bio

Susan Novell is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Oakland office and has been with Adelson, Testan, Brundo & Jimenez since 1998.  She has been a member of the California State Bar since 1991 and has practiced workers’ compensation law from 1992 to present.  She specializes in catastrophic claims.

Susan is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in Workers’ Compensation law.  Before joining Adelson, Testan, Brundo & Jimenez, she was the senior staff workers’ compensation attorney in Los Angeles County for Zurich North America Insurance Company.   

She attended the University of San Diego School of Law and Gonzaga School of Law and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.

Most recently, Ms. Novell received the prestigious designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) from the CLM's Litigation Management Institute.
